    Question Mail Problems after update

    Hi,

    A customer of ours updated his Intranator yesterday, and since then his mail has been acting strange. He says it seems like the system is permanently checking mail, although it should only check every 15 minutes or so.

    His current version info is:
    Version: 4.1.0
    Modell: 2200

    Here's a piece of his incoming mail logs. It seems like a DNS problem perhaps, not sure. But it's strange that it happens now after applying an update..

    Hi,

    it seems like the domain isn't configured very well on the Intranator: you are using the "Received" envelope while there is a normal envelope header available.

    Go to Dienste > Email > Domains and switch "Multidrop Header Typ" to "Normaler Header" and enter "Envelope-to:" as multidrop header. This type of configuration doesn't need dns lookups.

    The problem you are seeing here probably comes from a dns problem at the senders provider. We recommend using "Received" only as last resort because of these (and other) problems.
